what is the LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE?
Landscape architecture embraces all fields of green design. It is fully expressed in the private green and the urban and territorial one.
The reconstructed landscape thus becomes an integral part of our homes and cities by improving the quality of life of those who use the green areas.
Even from an environmental point of view, landscape architecture proves to be a formidable element for creating more comfortable microclimates, positively affecting the reduction of urban heat islands and keeping humidity constant.
The presence of well-designed greenery produces positive effects on reducing noise and suspended dust, making cities healthier.
Adequate landscape architecture is essential to increase biodiversity in green spaces to activate ecological corridors with a consequent increase in naturalness within urban centers.
Making landscape architecture means dealing with the nature of the territory. Integrating it perfectly with the architectural works present.
From this union comes the concept of beauty, in its broadest sense.
Green represents the harmony of nature. It reminds us where we come from and what we need and gets us used to cultivating and appreciating beauty.
Best Landscape Design offers its skills and experience in landscape architecture. The specific botanical selection and the design and implementation of the support technologies provided within the landscape project.
We believe that investing in green heritage has positive effects on the environment and on the soul of those who design it and of people.
We consider ourselves lucky because we have been allowed to do a job we love, which reveals itself as a gesture of love for others.
Do not hesitate to contact us to request catalogs, technical datasheets, costs, and any landscape design and implementation support.
In the design of Landscape Architecture, the qualities that guide the Best Landscape Design activity have always been botanical knowledge and passion.
A 360-degree landscape solution that integrates perfectly with the proposed design.
In each garden, a series of systems will be set up to manage the entire operation and maintenance of the park with a home automation system. The service starts with the choice of greenery, the organization of the irrigation system, lighting, video control, audio broadcasting; passing from the study of an optimal pedestrian and vehicular path with relative pavements and drainage system; up to the inclusion of water features, blue scenographies such as water mirrors, geysers, waterways, waterfalls and swimming pools. The path aimed at the realization of the project also includes the programming of the subsequent steps ensuring the correct progress of procurement, handling, and operational executions.
A fundamental step to guide the creative, technical, and design path is the inspection, which serves to photograph the scene of the “before” to evaluate the state of the landscape. This phase always includes a careful study of the native flora, the traditional and local architectural styles, and materials used in the area to create a continuum between what nature has completed, the existing structures, and our projects.
In particularly complex cases (due to particular climatic factors, territorial locations, the morphology of the area …), this step can be articulated to include:
Environmental check-up, which includes: climatic characteristics, rainfall trend, winds, humidity rate, detection of any polluting sources, reclamation needs, state of health of the aquifers.
Morphological satellite photography.
Analysis of the tectonic and chemical-physical characteristics of the soil.
The realization of the preliminary project represents the first tangible step towards the completion of Best Landscape Design’s Landscape Architecture. From the careful analysis of the data resulting from the inspection phase, the project takes shape, which is made up, depending on the complexity and extent, of virtual perspective views, two-dimensional planimetric tables, three-dimensional CAD drawings, and 3D animation.
Virtual perspective views of the most critical points in the area, processed on a computer; they show the “before” and “after” completed by as many nocturnal views, so that effects, scenic and style choices, volumes, shapes, and colors told by the images, transfer precisely the final result.
General two-dimensional planimetric tables; define lines, perspectives, and focal points of the design that characterize the entire area. They indicate the contextualization of the buildings and determine the use of external and internal spaces about the daily dynamics and the ancient Chinese Taoist geomantic art of Feng Shui. A philosophy that wisely indicates how to enjoy light and sun all day, orienting the night rooms to the northeast and the day rooms to the southwest.
Three-dimensional CAD perspectives and 3D animation; constitute the technical-planning completion for small, medium, and significant real estate urbanization interventions and the indispensable tool for the client to convey the project at the marketing and communication level.
The estimate calculation; integrates and concludes the presentation of the project by providing an initial estimate of the “scissor” costs to “build” together with the client the ideal budget to be allocated to the intervention.
The landscape is a portion of territory considered from the perspective or descriptive point. It appears to the subject’s gaze, mainly with an affective sense that can also be associated with an artistic and aesthetic need. The term is used for natural beauty or historical, artistic, architectural, or ecological interest.
Over the years, the landscape has been defined in various ways, from the natural and ecological context to an aesthetic component of the territory, from potential to be exploited for tourism purposes to a qualifying element capable of improving citizens’ aesthetics and standard of living.
